1. Who we are
Watemlifts is operated by ELEDOTNEXT DIGITAL, Kampala, Uganda. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how it is protected.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, hashed password, full name.
- Contact data: phone number, provided during registration.
- Signal delivery data: Telegram chat ID, used to deliver trading signals.
- Subscription and payment metadata: plan selected, order ID, payment status, transaction reference. Card and mobile money details are handled directly by Pesapal and are not stored on our servers.
2b. WatemLifts Network data
If you use the WatemLifts Network, we additionally collect:
- Owner data: buildings you register (name, address, city, country), lifts per building (label, type, brand), and job postings (title, description, type, urgency, scheduled date).
- Contractor data: company name, service countries, service cities, capabilities, brands serviced, and jobs you have claimed.
- Job interactions: when a contractor claims a job, we record the claim date, the assigned contractor, and the contact details shared between the owner and contractor (name, email, phone) so both parties can coordinate directly.
- Network payment metadata: for contractor subscriptions, the plan selected, order ID, amount, currency, and payment status. Card and mobile money details are handled directly by Pesapal and are not stored on our servers.
3. Why we collect it
- To create and manage your account.
- To deliver signals and subscription content.
- To process payments through Pesapal.
- To send account-related emails (for example, subscription confirmations or expiry reminders).
- To protect the platform from abuse and fraud.
4. Who we share data with
- Pesapal — payment processing.
- Telegram — only to the extent required to deliver signals if you have linked your Telegram account.
Network coordination: When a contractor claims a job posted by an owner, the owner sees the contractor's company name, contact name, email, and phone number. The contractor sees the owner's name, email, and phone number. This is required for the parties to coordinate the work.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
5. Transactional emails
We may send emails related to your account, such as subscription confirmations, expiry reminders, and security notices. These are sent to the email address you provide at registration.
6. Data retention
Account and subscription data are retained for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute resolution requirements.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@watemlifts.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Security
Passwords are stored hashed. Payment processing is handled by Pesapal. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
